Fleet 77,55, and 33 are a family of maritime communications services from Inmarsat offering voice, fax and data up to 128 kbps.
- Fleet 77 is particularly suitable for use onboard merchant vessels and meets Global Maritime Distress & Safety System (GMDSS) requirements. Fleet 77’s Data Enhanced data option enables 128 kbps ISDN service at cost-effective rates and with no need to change terminals.
- Fleet 55 is ideal for large to medium-sized vessels and specialist craft such as merchant fishing, patrol vessels and large leisure yachts where data transmission quality as well as reliability and cost-effectiveness are essential.
- Fleet 33 is a compact terminal, available at affordable prices and ideal for smaller vessels, such as coastal fishing and small leisure boats.
Fleet services are offered in all four ocean regions. The Fleet family is suited for the majority of vessel types, covering the range of needs for ocean-going vessels such as tankers, container ships down to smaller craft such as pleasure, fishing and patrol vessels.
